Residential Programs

Bayview’s Residential Programs provide our clients with an environment that is highly structured and prepares each client for a more independent living situation while promoting autonomy and recovery. With this more intense form of care, each client can become capable of achieving greater development of new coping skills as they deal with the stressors of life.

Consumers residing in residential treatment are generally those who have more severe or chronic mental disability and/or limited social supports in their previous living circumstances. Bayview’s Residential Programs emphasize empowerment and individualized treatment. Services provided may include life skills management such as shipping, budgeting, cleaning, personal hygiene, learning the transportation system, medication management, supportive counseling, educational groups, crisis intervention and community integration. All individuals are required to actively participate in activities during the day.
